[VIDEO] Westchester County Department of Emergency Services – Emergency Communications Center (Valhalla, NY)

The team is dedicated to providing exceptional services to the first responders, residents and workforce in the county. Over the past few months the ECC implemented the use of the pandemic surveillance tool for COVID-19 in our EMD protocols. This has led to providing advanced awareness and early notifications to our first responders to utilize PPE Precautions in an effort to keep them safe, especially early on during this pandemic.

We commend the dedication, persistence and gallantry of our team members, especially during these unprecedented and tenuous times.  Working while monitoring their temperature, checking for signs of illness and operating with surgical facemasks to protect each other’s health.

May the Nation take a moment to thank and appreciate all the 9-1-1 PSAPs and ECCs thought the homeland that work to keep them safe, day and night.

During NPSTW 2020 a number of the agencies we dispatch, are providing meals to the team in appreciation for their hard work and dedication. In addition,  one of our fire based customers created the video in honor of the 60-Control team.
