Tucumcari Quay Regional Emergency Communications Center

Our center has had many changes in the last 3 years. We are a small single dispatcher ran PSAP, with 8 people total. This last year, we’ve gone from being fully staffed- down to 3 total and back to full staffed. Our county became one of the 1st (2 counties on the same day adopted resolutions) counties in New Mexico to adopt a resolution acknowledging PSTs as first responders. It means so much that our county supports us – our county commissioners, County Sheriffs, Municipal Law Enforcement agencies, and our fire departments as well as the community that we serve.
