Save the Ice Cream

At the time, I was working at White Settlement Pd. The electricity was out for part of the city due to a big storm passing through. An elderly lady called wanting to know when the electricity would be back on. After I consulted my crystal ball, I advised her I did not know but the electric company has been advised of the outage. On the third call from the lady, the truth came out. She was concerned because her ice cream was going to melt. I kindly advised her again, that I was not the electric company, and invited her to bring her ice cream to the PD and she would not have to worry about it melting!
