To be on the phone with a distraught parent/spouse/child and able to save their loved one who just died – that would be an amazing gift. The cries of the RP get to me, because while not every dispatcher will personally experience domestic violence or a severe car accident or many of the calls we receive, every dispatcher will deal with the death of one of their own loved ones eventually.
