My Why

I have been doing this job for 23 years and even though I absolutely love it, the reason why I have stayed it in for so long is because of the people by my side. We are each other’s best friends, therapists, sounding boards, and humorous relief. I could not and would not want to do this job without these people beside me every step of the way. We have held each other during the darkest of times and celebrated each other’s greatest achievements. We laugh together, learn together, and grow together (sometimes more out than mentally lol). I could not be more proud of these individuals. We have solved murders, found missing persons, and could have the report typed and completed all before officers arrive on scene (yall know exactly what I mean 🤣). This is just one of the many reasons why they deserve to be recognized and celebrated every day. They love each other as much as they love their job.
