We may be a small (ish) department, but we are MIGHTY. We remixed this song to make it Dispatch related, and to describe our center. We have a wonderful group of people who come in and give 110% no matter how overwhelmed/overworked we are. It is not just a job to us. It is a calling. It takes a special person to be a 911 Dispatcher, and we have a very special group of people. The phones never stop, the crime never stops, the chaos never ends, but we know how to come together and work as a team to get the job done, in the midst of all the chaos.
We are constantly implementing new things, such as EMD which we will be going live with in the near future. We recently implemented a peer to peer support team and all of our dispatchers are CIT (crisis intervention certified.) We give nothing less than our best every day.
The remix to this song is fun, and catchy, which explains our department because we have such a mix of different personality types, and somehow we come together and make it all work. This remix is a perfect representation of us and the job that we all do.
