LVSO Telecommunications Team

All of the members of the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office Communications Unit are MY Superheroes!  2020 was a SUPER challenging year for all of us.  There was a lot of change and a lot of uncertainty.  My team showed amazing resiliency and dedication.  Each day I got to witness dispatchers supporting each other and working hard to complete the mission.  We have had some rough patches over the past 12+ months to include the loss of one of our long-time deputies and one of our volunteer firefighters.  We’ve faced staffing challenges and changes, shift changes, new procedures, severe weather, and COVID-19.  Through all of the chaos this team has come out fighting.  They are truly my SuperHeroes!!
