Kalamazoo County Consolidated Dispatch Authority

In the short amount of time since our Consolidated Dispatch Center went live on October 30, 2018, our Telecommunicators have done a spectacular job. The consolidation was quite an undertaking, combining five PSAP’s in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Many of our Telecommunicators had never worked together prior to “go live”, but the way they have performed as a team, you wouldn’t know this from the outside looking in. They are the ultimate professionals, who are committed and dedicated to our profession and to our community. Forming this organization wasn’t easy, but our entire staff has faced and overcome each challenge with finesse. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this organization.
