NPSTW 2020: Hamilton County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District
We have a committee that coordinates and handles the planning for our agencies week long celebrations during NPSTW. As the chair of it and discussing with our Directors I forwarded the following letter:
*On behalf of your Cares Committee we wanted to share with you what our plans are for 2020 National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week. We have been assessing the on-going changes taking place with the current spread of COVID-19. With the Social Distancing and other requirements in place we have elected to postpone our planned week of events. The Directors and the Cares Committee feel the safety and protection of each Telecommunicator remains the number one priority.
Moving forward, we are looking forward to a “Homecoming Celebration” once we are all able to be back together. Your Cares Committee pledges to make this a huge celebration with great food and prizes to celebrate each other and being back together. This additional time will also allow us to reach out to our community for more door prizes and other great things for you all. In lieu of the week long events and celebrations PLEASE know that each and every one of you are greatly appreciated and a huge asset to our success as a team and we are thankful for each of you not just during NPSTCW. We will get through these tough times stronger together.
Moving forward your Cares Committee will work with the Directors to continue to show our appreciation and to be here if you need us. We will continue to celebrate the monthly birthdays at both centers as well. Thank you for all you do.
Sincerely, Your Cares Committee. **
