“CHEERS!”

(to the tune of “Cheers”)

Being successful in this job today … takes everything  I’ve got.

Taking a break from all these callers … sure would help a lot!

Why do they all keep calling me?

I don’t care what happened back in 1962.

Or why your neighbor still insists on always bugging you.

Can’t we all just get along?

Sometimes I wish that I could say,

“Have you asked the neighbors to turn the music down?”

“Have you considered moving to another town?”

“If he flipped you off, don’t follow him!”

“And don’t get out of your car!”

“Just promise me you will never reproduce!”

I understand the neighbor’s dog is out again at the park!

And every time you walk by his yard … all he does is bark!

But, that’s what dogs are supposed to do!!!

Calling the cops just because… your kid won’t go to school!

You need an officer to lecture him – and help enforce your rules!

The officer should arrest you.

Sometimes I’d like to say,

“This is not MIAMI  C S I!!”

“It’s not a crime to roll your eyes!”

“If your house got egged … just wash it off!  And don’t call 9-1-1!”

“You’ve got to take some responsibility”

We call you back – because your cell phone – dialed 9-1-1.

Spend the next five minutes convincing you that…

We’re not calling you back for fun!

We have better things to do!!!!

You called the police because your car is gone –

Although you haven’t paid in months.

You left your vehicle running with the doors unlocked…

Are you fricken nuts?

You left your wallet on the seat?????

Wouldn’t it be great if we could say:

“Thanks for calling 9-1-1!”

“If it’s life or death…then please hold on!”

“Press two if you just need to whine….press three if it will take some time!”

“Or just hang up if you have no fricken clue!”

And just promise us….you’ll never reproduce!!!!!

CHEERS – TO THE TEAM THAT CAN HANDLE ANY CRISIS, AND STILL MANAGE TO FIND TIME FOR A GOOD LAUGH!

CHEERS – TO THE TEAM THAT ALWAYS KNOWS WHERE THE COFFEE IS!

CHEERS – TO THE HEROES, INVENTED SO THAT THE ‘OTHER HEROES’ COULD HAVE HEROES!
