Aladdin: The Genies of ROMO
Our dispatch center is like the cartoon Aladdin. Nothing is as it seems and we are all diamonds in the rough. Like Aladdin, our center isn’t much- but we have a great view! We also may be known to steal food…. from officers, not the market… Our dispatch center is similar to the Cave of Wonders: dark, mysterious, and only those who are worthy may enter…. But most importantly, we are similar to Aladdin in that 5 second clip of the genie explaining to Aladdin how he is on constantly standby for……

ROMO Dispatch: The Musical
Opening Song:
Oh, we come from a land, from a faraway place
Where the bugling elk herds roam
It’s not flat, it’s immense and the wind is intense
high elevation, but hey, it’s home
When the wind’s from the east and the sun’s from the west
And tourists come for the sights
Come on down, stop on by, hop a carpet and fly
To a National Park Service night!
Rocky nights, like Rocky days
More often than not, are colder than snot!
In a lot of good ways…
Rocky nights ’round Rocky Trails
A fool off his guard, could fall and fall hard
Out there on the vales!
One stroke behind the traffic
“copy” behind “code 4”
enter! you know they’re keying up with more!
(That’s all the time!)
That’s all, and that’s no joke!
These guys don’t appreciate keystrokes!
go ahead.
Copy that!
Negative, traffic stop instead.
I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
I’m never gonna eat this food!
Oh, looks like someone hit their button
They now owe dispatch hot pizza!
Gotta eat to live, gotta “break” to eat
Tell you all about it when I got the time!
One skip ahead of next call
Next time, if I get a mic click….
One jump ahead of the wind blown
One stroke, ahead of the clock
I think I’ll take a stroll around the block….
