It Took Only One

As an officer that assists Airport Dispatch , I could not help but notice that this one (out of only 3) Dispatchers, have taken the role to manage this emergency/ essential/ critical infrastructure and continue to show respect and love for her job when it seems as though the department has turned their backs to it. She has taken on managing her team , keeping Dispatch staffed and training “non-airport dispatchers” but Officers that are in training, Dispatch duties and sometimes not just 1 BUT several at a time. At one point, she had 4 officers in training. My hat goes off to this dispatcher and much respect for what she accomplishes.
