Congratulations to Our NPSTW Contest Winners!

The votes are in, and the winners of our NPSTW 2025 soundtrack contest are:

  • 1-35 Employee Division: Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division for their entry Dispatch (featuring rewritten lyrics to the tune of “Convoy”)
  • 36+ Employee Division: City of Atlanta E911 Division for their entry Unstoppable

We received so many creative entries, and out of 60 posts, there were only a few songs that were (understandably) repeated: “I’ll Be There for You” (the theme from “Friends”), “Call Me”, “We Didn’t Start the Fire” and “Stayin’ Alive.”

Speaking of which, we especially encourage you to view the VCU Police Communications ECC-Gees hit “Keep You Alive” video, which deserves an honorable mention for their singing, dancing and costumes!

As always, we wish we could award a prize to all of our entries. Thank you to every agency that entered and/or voted. It’s one of our favorite times of the year when we get to celebrate our public safety telecommunications heroes and see a piece of their worlds in a new way — this year with music and lyrics. We appreciate everything you do; you are simply the best!
